3600 stall would be perfect
To be fair you also had 3.42 gears though... it may have been a different story with more gear in the truck. having longer gears will really amplify any disconnect between the cam and converter choise... having said that, it doesnt create the disconnect, it only makes it more apparent.

I would say that the 2600 is not enough, but beyond that its all in what you can live with. If you think a 3200 is your max then go that route and you will love it. If you can go 3600 then go that route and you will love it even more.

That is true I had 342s plus a tight 278mm stall.
I am sure a looser 9.5 inch 3200 would do better

I prefer that setup over the 220
In my case it out performed the 220 cam and ran better numbers at the track .

I've got the 212/218 low lift on a 114 with a 2800 stall circle d converter in a heavy *** extended can stepside 4x4 with 285's and 3.73's. If you step on it from a stop it pulls like a freight train. I'm very happy with my cam/converter decision. That being said I researched the **** out of it before making a decision and buying parts

I'm still stock cammed and run a circle d 34-3600 258mm converter. It made a huge difference in my truck. I do daily drive it and now I wish I'd went with a little looser, maybe 4000. It's noticeable daily driving but no issues at all. Love it! Give Chris @ circle d a shout. He'll hook you up.

I got a tsp 220 in a 4.8 with 4.10s and a 3200 stall. Wish i had gotten the 3600rpm stall instead.

I'm glad you replied man. That was the answer I was looking for. 212/218 114lsa, ls6 springs, TSP chromoly pushrods and a I6 trailblazer stall sounds good. $150 for brand new for the TC is a good bang for the buck IMO at 2600k it's going on a 03 RCSB silverado with a 4.8, I mostly run my stock 17s on low pros and sometimes my 22s on low pros

Yeah that $150 sounds good in the beginning. But, the bitterness of cheap quality lingers long after the sweetness of a good deal.

If you're spending money on performance, why go half ***? It's your daily driver. Spend the $250-350 more for a aftermarket unit.
