Whats torque converter for a tr220 ?

I would say that the 2600 is not enough, but beyond that its all in what you can live with. If you think a 3200 is your max then go that route and you will love it. If you can go 3600 then go that route and you will love it even more.

I've got the 212/218 low lift on a 114 with a 2800 stall circle d converter in a heavy *** extended can stepside 4x4 with 285's and 3.73's. If you step on it from a stop it pulls like a freight train. I'm very happy with my cam/converter decision. That being said I researched the **** out of it before making a decision and buying parts

I'm still stock cammed and run a circle d 34-3600 258mm converter. It made a huge difference in my truck. I do daily drive it and now I wish I'd went with a little looser, maybe 4000. It's noticeable daily driving but no issues at all. Love it! Give Chris @ circle d a shout. He'll hook you up.

Yeah that $150 sounds good in the beginning. But, the bitterness of cheap quality lingers long after the sweetness of a good deal.
If you're spending money on performance, why go half ***? It's your daily driver. Spend the $250-350 more for a aftermarket unit.
