Default What's it's purpose ?

Like the title says, there's this hose coming off the passenger side of my nnbs intake. Ive put this intake on my '00 and was just wondering what it does ? And if it should go somewhere. The intake was off a 2012.

Hear's a picture of said hose, its the port and hose directly behind the fuel rail crossover.

On mine that's for the AIR pump. Why don't you follow it and see where it goes.

Its capped off on the nnbs trucks, it has a plastic nipple from factory but i broke mine off and now its plugged. On our turbo 2010 5.3 were using that for the reference for wastegate and BOV.

Capped from factory on my NNBS ... Excuse the ignorance but What is it showing?? Is it your intake pressure your reading and then control through wastegate and or BOV?? Im guessing but i guess its obviuos answer.

Like said, from the factory that is capped off. On that intake, the cap has been snapped off and whoever had it ran a vacuum reference to something. On turbo trucks, it can be used to reference vacuum/boost for all kinds of things: wastegate, blow off valve, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure regulator, etc.
