Thinking maybe getting rid of the T/A for a 1500 2wd. Whats involved with pulling the 4.8/5.3 out and installing a LS1 with a H/C. Do u need to change the computer. I'm sure its been done. Fill me in.
Also can u put say a 5.7 with a corvette magnacharger seeing theres plenty of room for it.

In addition, I believe the A/C compressor has to swap sides on the engine.
The C5 Magnacharger would probably work, but it looks like you would definetly have to convert to an electric fan setup since the blower snout & TB stick out so far in the front.

Wouldn't it be better to just use a Radix with an intercooler?

No need to move the AC. All of the acc's from the truck bolt right up except the bottom left AC bolt. I have an LS1 in my truck, and the truck computer runs it just fine. I really didn't have to change much to the program that I was running on the 5.3.
