Default Whats the diff.?

Between the comp 212/218 and 02' LS6 cams?
*Performance wise*
The only thing I know is, that they both produce more power in the upper rpms <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> . Wich would make the most power?

Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Thanks for all of the help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

p.s. I seached and found no comparisons of these two cams. All of the info I found on the comp 212/218 was very general. Nothing really about how it performs compared to the 02' LS6. <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

What size motor??

Also, I see in your signature that you have more money saved for your truck now. Good job on that one, and stay away from credit cards; they are evil and make it hard to save for anything.

Saving for supercharged 5.7 convertion...

-$4000.oo owed so far.

I would personaly go with the LS6 cam just because the new Comp cams are made in China. They are useing too soft of a metal on the cams. This came from a guy from work that spend 5gs' on a block. The lobes got flat during braking in the cam. Just my 2 cents <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />

The parents also gave me 2500 for graduation, so that was a BIG help. Lately, I got income tax back ($466) and got paid yeterday, so that was around $900 in the bank! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> It helps that Im 18 and live w/ the parents <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . Hopefully sometime in july I will get my truck! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
