Default My wifes Z71

OK guys I need some help. My wifes truck sometimes will turn ove for like 6 to 10seconds before it actually fires up. Sometimes it starts right up no problem. Also sometimes when coming to a stop or sitting at a red light it will just die. Starts right back up and I go on merry way. Just wondering if you guys have run into this problem before. I was thinking maybe a fuel or spark problem but I'm not sure. TIA

Sure sounds like a fuel pressure problem. When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? It might be as simple as that. Good luck.

My truck did the same thing. Pulled the vacuum line of the fuel pressure regulator and fuel was coming out. Replaced it and no problems.

All I can tell ya is that its on the driver side of the engine on the fuel rail. It will have a small vacuum hose going to it. It will have a silver cover on it as well.

Good luck,
Sean
