What is the deal with the vette servos? Gains, efficiency? see alot of ppl have them but idk what they do, i have an 05 4l80, with a shift kit an 3k stall. Just wondering what the improvements are. Thanks.

they're not for the 4L80E but essentially larger surface area for the 2nd gear servo for us 60E guys for a little faster shifts and more apply pressure for the 1-2 shift

I have a 4L60E and hate the vette servo. After installing the Transgo HD shift kit, the servo made the 1-2 shift WAY too hard, and unproportional to the rest of the shifts. I get all the shift firmness I want with the shiftkit and ECM tuning. Yes, it barks the tires shifting into 2nd.
