I think the best sounding exhaust is the one you like the most.... what I may like another may not, it's all subjective.

Same opinion here. Just personal preference. I've had the Borla oval XR1 with a tailpipe,without the tailpipe, now the Dynomax ultra-flo welded muffler. They both sound good but I've always liked the sound of a Flowmaster. There's a guy in town here with a 4.8 truck with the stock manifolds on and factory y-pipe and it sounds awesome, if you like the Flowmaster sound. Anyway I ordered 1 last night to try on my truck single in/out Flowmaster Super 44 series to see how it sounds behind LT's and o/r y-pipe. Just gotta try it- personal preference is the bottom line. I figure with my set up now the muffler will have no effect on performance as the other two mufflers didn't change anything.
