What's the best Plug Wires
#13
Stock...orielys sells a insulated boot kit that slides right over the stock wires if youre worried about heat/burning...I also bought exhaust wrap from Jeggs abd wrapped some of the tubes and wires I thought were a little close

Stock for me, Tyler 409s are good set up for headers. Used a laser temp gun after my header install. Pace set.... Lt . Mine work best with the silver metal boots(whatever their called), of the the stock wires. Not sure if thats a good idea but the ones that had them, the boot, on the plugs, were 38-46 degrees hotter. Taken them all off once my NGK-TR55's get here.

I've had the MSD's for 6+ years now and they've been holding up great. I've removed them numerous times (cam swap, 2 spring swaps, header install, etc.), and haven't had a problem. Just be sure to twist the boot before you pull on it. They clear my StainlessWorks LT headers perfectly as long as I twist the boots a little bit. As mentioned, you're not going to feel a performance increase over the stockers, but the MSD's are nice for most header clearance problems...btw my stockers were in good shape so I kept them as backups in case I ever do have a problem with the MSD's, I won't be stuck with a misfire.
not to hijack, but I thought I heard that MSD are now offering their wires in black...anybody have any info on this?
