Default what would you guys do???

Hey guys,
I've been asking a few questions this week about the performance of my 2006 crew cab 5.3 silvy.Well for starters i took the 24" wheels off and sold them today actually.Well i just bought a new house and have other (PRIORITIES),but i still wanna make my truck more fun to drive.I was kicking around the idea around of getting an sts turbo kit,but really don't wanna drop $4000 right now,so what i started to think is what if i just stall/exhaust/cam my truck instead. For the stall part,i'm gonna get a yank3000.For the exhaust, pacesetter LT's and ory with the magnaflow muffler i already have. For the cam,i was looking at the comp cams xtreme rpm 212 / 218 .522 .529 @ 114 and the xtreme rpm high lift 212 / 218 .558 .563 @ 115.Which cam do you guys think would be better? What other modifications would i have to do with the cam swap besides getting nelson to change some things around in the tune?Keep in mind this is my daily driver. Thanks for any help guys.

the high lift would be the better of the 2 cams but id get it on a 112 LSA

with a cam you have to do valve springs too

it is suggested that while you are in there you do pushrods, timing chain, oil pump

IMO In your bigger truck I'd go with the higher lift cam with the 115 LSA, you've allready stated that you DD this thing and with a narrower LSA you'll see a decrease in your bottom end power, which you wouldnt want in a DD crew cab. Look up Wheatley on the board, IIRC he's running a similar setup to yours with a 114 or 115 LSA cam and he's running well into the 14's in a crew cab. With a cam swap you'll NEED new springs. I'd suggest getting hardened pushrods as well, and depending on your mileage a timing chain and oil pump, but I wouldnt do those on anything under say 50-60k on the clock.
