Default what would u do in this situation.

Im given (hopefully) a great condition low mile 97 cougar.. its my grandmas car. im talkin her into a impala ss. but anyways.. its worth, on kbb 4k.. its the 30yr anniversary,25k miles, 4.6 200hp, slow.. bla bla.. ball joints are bad.. shes gonna fix it and give it to me.

so im thinkin about selling it. hopefully for 4-5k. what would u do if u had my truck with that money? this is gonna be happening in march or april.

funny story, my auto 2.5 sentra beat it by a little one time when my bro drove it 3 yrs ago..

buy a built tranny, good converter and nice cam.

If you go out and buy a supercharger or turbo the tranny won't usually last too long, so you'll end up buying one of them out of pocket.

Thats what I would do.

Id keep the cougar for a Daily driver and save for mods on the truck.

sell it for your grandma to use for a down payment on her new car.

i just recently destroyed my 2nd gear.. i think my tranny isnt going to last..

cougar as a DD. insurance is gonna cost and im just now moving out on my own with my gf.

my grandma is well off as far as money goes.. she wants me to have the cougar. im trying to get her to get an impala ss

what im thinking is that ill probably have a locker and gears by then.. so ill do other mods and keep 2k aside for the tranny. so lets say i get 4k. what other things can i do with the other 2k? put some aside for wheels? slicks? Ill get a cam 4 sure. and the stall will come probably when i get the tranny. but like i said its not going to last long.

i dunno, what else do u guys think?
