Default what would it take?

what would it take to get n/a 400-450rwhp out of a stock bottom end 6.0l. I know I will need a pretty big cam and probably some head work. some #'s from some proven combo's would be nice

That's a pretty big goal. I would think a good set of heads from GTP and a cam somewhere around the 240/600" range would be a good start. I would also think that injectors and fuel system are gonna be another problem.

I really don't see it happening N/A unless you have a special built block.

I could see 400rwhp or maybe a smidge more with a full blown heads/cam (high compression) and all bolt-on setup but it is going to depend on your drivetrain loss also. A 4l80E with tranfercase is gonna rob some of that.

thinking about ditching the 4.3 in my s-10 and swapping a 6.0 in. would I be better off with a 5.7 ls1? seems like those guys hit 400rwhp with full bolt ons and a good cam. also I will be having my current 4l60e built to the wood

You would need a really good set of heads and a healty cam. You would need about every bolt on as well
