What works???

How is it that a coolant bypass on the TB makes HP by keeping warm air from entering the intake, but the EGR flows hot exhaust into the intake?
Why would you install a Power Aid Block between the TB and the intake which reduces the air intake hole to 65mm to 70mm and yet bore out the TB to 78mm or buy an 80mm TB for more air? Did any body see the last Sport Truck Mag. on air filters? They showed a $6.00 paper filter that passed almost as much air as a K&N filter. How about the $60 Supercharger that looks like a mini roof turbin that spins. Wouldn't it be great if some one could make a cheap reprogramer that just shuts off the stuff that stops you from doing things that really make HP. I'm still wondering why you can buy a new old style Monster Blower cheaper than a low end blower for my 5.3 LS1. It's discussing!
