Default What Truck To Get?

I just sold my car and now I am looking for a new truck. I want something that I can make run mid 13's consistently. I was looking at a chevy tahoe, or a gmc serria denali with quadrasteer. Is there any problem with reliable power on the quadrasteer, is anything weaker because of it, or is it all the same as a normal truck? What would be needed to run those times and still be my daily driver?

Thanks

I would personally get the gmc/chevy VHO. but you might not be able to get them. to get the denali down in the 13 your either going to need some boost from a turbo or supercharger or some N20. you could do it on motor but then you would need a cam, stall, tune, and a few other things to get you down their. the denali is a heavy truck, but they are PIMP>

Well it depends on what your price range is and what style you want-i agree denali's are pimp but also kinda expensive. I say get the VHO you get a 6.0 then you can do some boost and you should be fine. Thats my opinion take it for whats its worth.

I was talking to my dealer and he said that the truck with quadrasteer are alot heavier and they don't hold their value very well. Are you guys saying that I sould try and find a 1500HD? I never heard about any other 1500 avaliable with the 6.0 If you know where I can get a regular 1500 with the 6.0 then please let me know. Thanks

Like I was Saying teh VHO is a 1500 extended cab 2wd truck with 20" wheels and the LQ9 (345hp) and is only avalible in TX, OK, and LA. That will save you some Search time.

Why Isn't A 2wd A 13 Second Truck And Your Daily Driver? My Vho Will Be In The 13 With A Cam And Stall, Tune Exhaust And Some Good Tires.

Is the vho truck only avaliable in 2wd? If so that is not an option for me. I really want something that I can make a mid to low 13 second truck and still be my daily driver.
