I was wanting to know what size tranny cooler everybody was using. Any problems getting it to fit? Where did you get? Have you had any problems with your tranny since you installed the tranny cooler? Isn't it supposed to increase the life of the tranny by like 2 or 3 times? Thanks in advance!

Factory. I have yet to see even moderate tranny temps. Even while towing. Stays real cool.

I'm going to see about getting a tranny cooler outta a truck with the tow package. Anybody know the part numbers for the cooler and pre-bent lines? I hate walking into the local dealers without part numbers. The one isn't too bad because they have the computer with the microfiche looking pictures but, they won't tell you any part numbers and they charge you outrageous prices.

I've been thru two so far, first one was the b&m racing super cooler, that thing was a pos imo. after about 1year of driving the cooler started leeking, I know it wasn't my fittings or lines either. I noticed the b&m cooler is made like it's pressed together and the fins seem like they would leak easy. Well, they did, i'll be sending this pos back to the factory for a refund, hopefully.
I just put in a perma cool cooler, it has the 6pass tube and was about 14x11, so far so good, i'll be able to post tranny temp comparisons later.

see ya,

allen
