Default What throttle body are you guys using?

I think i have more than maxed out my stock throttle body. I have the 6.0L intake. What is the best and biggest throttle body i can install on this intake?

I know i picked up 10whp with a BBK 80mm that was built for an LS1 intake, just messing around with the dyno at school. Im looking to go bigger if i can, something like an 85 or 90mm, but im not sure if it will fit the intake? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

I think most of the top part of the fastest truck list is using the stock TB.I'd think even if you go bigger with the TB, the MAF is still more of a restriction.

well i run the bbk as well and have you built a plate for the bbk and got rid of the reducer plate they sent? I used a 1/8" thick alluminum plate and hole sawed a 3" hole then filed it out to make it an even 80mm like the t/b used a 60mm bolt for the top and two 30mm for the lower ones. PM if you have any more ?? or i can meet you and let you see the one i have.

I have a BBK sitting here in the box that I bought used from allgnoshow a while back...still haven't used it. Been too buzy fine tuning other mods to mess with it. I figure that after I do my e-fans, I'll have more room to play with and bolt it on for poops and giggles. In the mean time I've just been using my stocker.

I seriously doubt you are "maxing" out your TB. have you even logged to see how much your MAF is flowing? If you still have the 24.7lb/hr injectors im almost sure your near maxing them out as far as duty cycle percentage.

The stock TB is good for 550 FWHP, getting there is a tuning issue. If you are going larger, get the LS2 intake and TB and make the necessary changes, if you are going FI or Boosted, then go the FAST route.
