i have heard some bad things about the unit like some have broke. it sure looks cool and easy install, just replaces your spyder gears. the add makes it sound strong. anyone have any info?

I personally have an Eaton in my 99, but have two friends with powertrax. One is in a 88 Camaro with a 355. It is approx. 350hp plus a 100 shot. He uses drag radials and has put on 10k over the summer and fall. It is driven hard all the time and street raced every available weekend. Runs 12.15 with a 2.2 60 foot. It has performed flawlessly. The other is a 94 Silverado ECSB. It has 35's and also a 350 with 125 shot. It also has performed great since installed 15k ago.

i have about 15k on my powertrax, not a single problem yet. it was real easy to install and it locks up everytime. i've done a lot of four wheelin with it, basically put it through hell and back, hasn't let me down. my only problem is wheel hop in slick weather, i'll get some traction bars one of these days.
