lookin to maybe swap the heads for something diff, but am wondering if it will be worth it. I have a stock 2000 yukon with a 5.3. I dont exspect a huge diff unless im wrong but any suggestions on what to look for, im not sure the # on my heads but what will be something to look out for. But would like it to be a stock oem head like a ???????

 

you are going to loose compression with any other stock head. the 862/706 heads have a 62cc chamber which is the smallest on stock engines that will fit. basically, you have the best for you. porting and polishing is your only option for more flow.

if you want to run boost, the 317s will lower compression to make it more friendly.

 

milled 243/799's? it's not absolutely 100% stock, but close enough i'd say.
