Default What size tq converter...

...for a 220/224 .56x.56x 114 in a 6.0 LQ9 w/ WCCH stageII heads, all supporting bolt ons, etc. Truck is a 99 4x4 RCSB. I'm thinking around 3k...this is a daily driver btw...

3k should work great with that setup, that cam in a 6.0 will still have plenty of low end so 3k verter should work out good...IMO

Circle D 278MM Street Series 2800-3200 convertor, best bang for the buck out there IMO

Not a bog cam for the 6.0 2800-3000 would be good, but a 3200 would always be better

IMO with a 6.0, the Yank TT will work, that cam is not very big at all in a 6.0, it only has -6* of overlap, that is why i don't think you need that big of a TC, especially if you want a tame DD....

Yea, I'm looking to build a fairly mild DD that will have good power in the range that I use most on the street. I really like the idea and price of the Yank TT series, just don't know if it will hold up behind a heads/cam 6.0. Guess that I neglected to mention that the engine will have WCCH stageII 317's on it.

i would recommend the yank TT.. i have the 3000tt and i love it.... i wish i would have went 3200 though.... so if i were you id go 3200.. because i promise youf gonna always wonder hmm man i wonder what that 200 rpm difference would have made

but on the other hand... if you pull a trailer or tow anything then you should go with the 3000TT.... its a tight converter and drives pretty close to stock under partial throttle

but if i did it again id go yank 3600... eventually thats what ill go with
