Why not just have it dump out of the muffler b4 the axle???? That is how I had it on my Radix combo and it worked good. 3" pipe at minimun.

If he dumps it at the axle he will have two big fake exhaust tips sticking out his roll pan.

On my 6" drop, dual 2.5" tips wasn't working so well. When cut them off, they were oval shaped above the axle and had 2 nice slits in each where they split. I should also add, they could have been tucked up a little more. With a 4-5" drop, you should be ok with 3" as long as its tucked up.

Oh that suxs. Ya you are going to have to try to squeeze a 3"over that axle. Do you have a c-notch???? You might have to make that circle into a oval for just those 4 or so inches over the axle.
Either that or you can get a new rear pan and go with my original idea.

ok, here's what's been going through my head.

true dual exhaust, mandrel bent, with dynomax ultrafllows, 3" will cost me close to the same as if i .........

1)bought a new rollpan, and then went with a custom y piped exhaust with either 3.5" or 4" single exit out stock location.

2) a new roll pan, with a custom y pipe setup with a 3.5" or 4" dumped before the axle. running just a hair cheaper, but not much since the tailpipe is either 80 buck for 3.5", 100 bucks for 4" ( mandrel bent, flowmaster universal tailpipe kits ) or 20 bucks for a dump, either size.

any of these y pipe systems i will fab up myself, with mandrel bends bought from summit (maybe 60 bucks ), as well as flowmaster merge pipes. Either dual 3" into 3.5" or dual 3" into 4" for like 60 bucks.

rollpan is now 180 bucks, verses the 130 when i bought mine. so.... i'm really stuck in a hard place here

i kinda like the idea of dumped, because of two reasons. Clearance over axle, and sound. a dumped exhaust sounds awsome.

i also love the looks of my exhaust exiting through my roll pan. and it seems whichever system i choose, will cost me a pretty penny, to do it right.

i always can sell a custom dual exhaust exit rollpan though...

input guys?

I like single tail pipes just because... But you'll never fit a 4" pipe. So dump it but find something that won't resonate flowmaster style
