Cam, gears, and stall will be your best bang for your buck and make a very nice difference too...

Def. put some money in the transmission, get a good PI, Fuddle, Yank converter 2800 stall and put some cash in the transmission becasue your gonna need it. Then when you get the transmission strong enough to were its gonna support the hp your gonna make, then do the heads and cam (btw great choice for cam ligenfelter makes in my opinion the best blower cam out there). If youve got 3.73 gears I would stick with them and invest in a Eaton and possilbly while your in there new moser axles. If you dont have 3.73's then I would do 4.10 at 70 my fathers truck 2500hd does around 2400-2500 a 70mph which aint that bad.

Oh my bad 3.55 gears I would do 4.10s last.

But have you ran a stock Lightning or SRT10? You should be making around 380ish to the wheel that would be damn close to what it takes to run against both trucks.

Your wasting your money on a 400 tb or a new intake. Like weve said stick with the converter, transmission, heads, cam, headers etc that stuff makes a difference.

What type of transmission upgrade do you recommend besides a 2800 stall. I really don't know shiiiit about this part. Please provide detailed kits that will hold up to a final hp of 500hp at the engine.

Yeah, go with the FLT level 5.

Or things to look for are Red alto clutches, Kevlar lined bands, but you get what you pay for. Just depends making 500 crank hp with a procharger is easy, you wont even need heads or cam. I know a guy with a ex cab with Procharger 5.3 with Ligenfelter heads and cam forged piston, and rods (Bored to a 5.7) and makes 600rwhp. There is only 1 place I would buy a transmission whole from and its FLT.
