Default 5.7 advice

Just picked up an obs '00 tahoe 2wd limited and I'm wondering what has worked well for people with these motors. I'm doing precision 4.10's with an auburn to get rid of my grenade-loc and planning on running some jba headers and a magnaflow cat back. I've found a marine intake and sone injectors for my truck along with a decent nitrous setup (friend works @ nx) but I'm wondering if I'll be happy with the power it makes. Did the later tahoes come with 4l80's or 60's? Any advice is welcomed as it will be some time before a built lq9 makes it's way into the truck.

It's got a 4l60E. Do some searching under vortec 350. There is alot of info on it. The marine intake is a good start!
