Default What psi in tires??

Well I'm having my denali rims and tires put on my truck tomorrow for the first time and I have a question. What psi should I inflate my tires to to get maximum wear out of them/make the tires last longer? The tires are 275/60/17 Goodyear Eagle GT 2 's. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

what is the manufactures recommended psi on the tires?
different companies, different types of tires, different psi ratings, should have it on the side wall of the tire to get the most out of it. the right psi also helps on gas mileage.

on the side wall the max psi says 44psi, so would 35psi be a good psi to run?

Once you get the tires on, keep the tire place's psi in them. Put a thick yellow or white grease pencil line across the tread on all four tires perpendicular to the bead. Drive in a straight line 100 yards or so. If the line is more worn in the middle take out 1 psi at a time until the line fades evenly. If more worn on the sides. Add air & check. If worn only on the inner or outer edge. Get an alignment!
