Default What path to take?

Path

A. go from a 5.3L stock to an LQ9 with a cam and good tune port polish heads

B. keep my 5.3 and put a radix

Ultimately I want reliability and power yeah I want 350 to 375 at the wheels but its got to be a daily driver with lots of short trips.

Only thing a radix is 5k and install 800 then you need exhaust and headers another 1000. I can get a pull out LQ9 have a cam put in it, good tune and swaped out all for about 5k or less.

my truck is a 04 silverado 1500 4dr (half doors) Z71 off road. I dont use the truck for any towing at all. Im not a mechanic so all the work will be done by someone else not sure who yet but someone local. I think theres some good local guys from LS1 forums around my area with good wrenching skills. So I have to include install pricess. I have only and only 5k to spend.

a. i just got dont with 5.3 to 6.0 swap, first engine swap i have ever done. Its very easy just make sure u put all the bolts in bags. I made 310 hp and 360 ft lbs to the wheels my first full throttle pass. but my drivesshaft had a dring and snaped in half at 5100 rmp. So its got another 10 to 30 in her.
