Ok i was looking for a new oil pump and there are a few different ones. SLP has one for like 179.95, Thunder Racing has an LS6 for like 149.95, and SPDC has one just like SLP for 149.95. The SLP and SPDC have a ported and blueprinted oil pump and Thunder Racing has a cleaned up LS6 one. Witch one would be the better setup? Need to order one let me know.

 

they're all pretty much the same....they're all just stock pumps ported. why exactly are you going with a new one? are you losing pressure or just doing it to be same? i'd go with Thunder Racing, they have their **** together and know how to do things right. plus their customer service is second to none.

 

Well when cam install went in for some reason the oil pump quit working so i needed to get a new one. Other than that oil pressure was always 45 or higher before cam install.

 

ahhhh, i gotcha...like i said, i would go with the Thunder pump.

 

We sell our ported & prepped pumps for $130.00 and they come coated. No one elses come coated. I am currently out of them, waiting on GM supplier to send me pumps. We should be able to ship some out in a week.

coated in what? like ceramic coated? what is the gain of the coating?

 

Ya what is the coating and what does it do?? I haven't even heard of the coating on the pumps before. Let me know maybe placing an order.
