What mods to get for the new Burb?
#11
Yes the pulley for the trucks follows the same principles as the F-body. As far as the Whipple, that is still an unanswered question. Some guys have found mod friendly dealers and not had problems. There are a few guys here that have them and I'm sure they will chime in. Contact Tom @Tbyrne and Q&A him about it. He supercharges everything. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Or can I put one on and not worry about voiding the warranty. I know sticking one on an fbody and taking it in for service is the kiss of death!

The only down side to that is you have to stick to the 4.5-5psi, but that would still give you a nice gain.
If I were to start all over this is how I would do it:
*Air intake- UPD or K&N
*Headers- ASM longtubes or The Other Guys
*Cat-Back- I love the way Corsa sounds, but a tad on the expensive side. More of a sound preference, most exhaust flow the same.
*Pulleys
*Programmer- Either Hypertech or Superchips.
*Electric Fans
After those, it starts getting a little more extreme, SC or N20 and a torque converter.
Hope this helps, Kent.

How much are Taylor wires and where can I get them? I just ordered some UD pulleys, I can't wait to get them installed. Also does anyone know what a PV Venturi is???

i would go with the msd wires myself , and as far as the magnacharger goes .we've installed a few of these unit and they will offer a 3 year/36000 on the drive trane if you purchase the extended warranty and change oil every 3000 miles (must have reciepts for oil change) and the installer is ase cert. other than that its a no brainer . i would go with the magnacharger system .
