What is the max bore on a 5.3?

Stroking = too expensive. Prices for cranks for this truck are CRAZY!

What is the maximum SAFE bore on a 5.3L

I know I read in some post where someone had gotten a 408 out of the block, I guess he used sleeves but Im not positive. Ill search around
