Folks im looking into purchasing a 2001+ Suburban 2500 and possibly looking into the 8.1L L18 496 Big block version. Is there anything specific with the engine or truck i should look for when i go to look at it and check it out? other than the normal look over.

I dont know too much about this engine or truck just yet. so any info would be greatly appreciated
