Default What kind of tires do you run at the track?

Who uses ET Streets/Drags? Can you mount the 26 x 10.50-16's on the factory 7" rims?

Anyone run Drag Radials? Which brand?

What kind of short times do you get with ET Streets/drag radials?

I'm really tired of 15 second time slips, and I know that 2.33 short times aren't helping any. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Thanks for any input...

I tried 255/50/16 BFG Drag Radials on my factory wheels, but with instant boost of the Whipple, they did not stick very well. I have a set of 26/11.5/16 ET Street sitting in my garage waiting to be mounted on my factory wheels, but until my tranny gets rebuilt, I am in no hurry.

For your application as it sits right now, BFG DR's should be fine. From what I have read on these boards, BFG's hook better on the track but have a shorter tread life and Nitto's hook better on the street and have a longer tread life.

Hope this helps, Kent
