i have 79 chevy nova looking at using a 5.3 in it with ls_1intake with a termec 5 speed it thnaks ronc

 

That depends on the application being used!! Forced or N/A?

 

And it also depends on if your talking about completly remodifying it like bottom to top. Cause changing the bore and stroke which you can definatley do will make that 5.3's diplacement a bit larger! And then your possibilities are almost limitless kinda. Like roughly 800-900 engine hp can be attained. And roughly 480-550hp without any induction!

 

i live in nc have have the smog stuff on it but not tested, no power adders,would like to have around 400 to 450hp if i can

 

Thats easy as hell with this engine then!! you'd have no problem getting it there

 

sweet what do you thing what cam? and what should i do to the heads, makmaking plans right now,i am going to use headers the shorty type, ronc
