Default What kind of HP and TQ are D-Maxes making????

Since i bought the Cummins and got just over 600rwtq out of free mods I was wondering what kind of power guys with Dmaxes are making. I plan on upgrading to POD injectors and a HTT Stage III turbo and should be around 850rwtq, whick will only cost $550. Can the Dmaxes make this kind of power, or are the inline 6's the best power/reliability diesels?

BTW, thats with no intercooler yet either. New numbers are coming

No intercooler?....didn't it come from the factory with one?

I have an 02 Duramax and have made over 620hp and 1200+ ft/tq......I say plus because that is the highest the dyno read. BMDMAX on here has been in the 750hp range and 1500+ torque.....but our trucks are pretty close in the quarter....until I get back to the track that is...lol. The Cummins is a great motor...but the Duramax is really starting to get the respect it deserves. A kit was just released to upgrade the turbos on them.....we are behind in some of the upgrades....but we are more than making up for it.

yeah my buddy ran a 14.1 with an intake, the edge programmer , and bully dog programmer in his 03 2500 CC 4x4. the only problem is that the edge pulls power due to tranny slippage he could not put both of full power.

Thats who I am ordering some of my stuff from. The Stage III turbo I am getting from HTT. I dont really think I will need twins with the power I plan on making. I will pretty much just be doing turbo, injectors, IC, water/meth, N2O, and 4" turbo back. I'll run it at 45# boost and see what numbers I come up with. All of that will cost right at $1k.

BTW, Cummins didnt come with an IC till 92.5', and then they switched to a larger exhaust housing and smaller injectors. They made the same power as the non IC and spooled slower. Then in 94'-98.5' they went up 20hp/tq.
