What kind of headers is everyone running? If you don't and know someone that does get them to post.
I am researching my next mod, and the ones I have on order have been for to long. I'm trying to work something out there.

I am still waiting on my Hamms too. Supposedly they are going to be ready in the next week or so. But you know how that goes.
A frind of mind just ordered some Dean LaPole headers for his 2002 since the hamms are not ULEV certified. We should have those on his truck in the next week or so but John at Hamms is the one that refered them to him. Supposed to have the same gains as the hamms with similar build quality. I will let you know how they turn out.

well, im running hamms, so im no help to ya
but... i did get a pretty good look at some asm's today and they were a nice set of headers. but they looked pretty much the same as the hamms. i would go for the converter... gains will be MUCH better, especially in a 4.8L since we lack the low end torque that the 5.3s have.

I dont blame you a bit. I headed up a GP on the Hamms and the ship date he quoted me in the beginning is upon us and still no word. So I have six other people asking me where their headers are.

I'm not going to flame on the Hamm's. I did email John and got a return that stated they are back to building and they sub out their coating. One thing I said was I didn't want to wait more than a couple of days to resolve this. I still did not get a ship date. I just had really bad timing when I ordered them I guess, with the retooling and all. He said the product has been improved, so you guys must be getting new ones. I have other reasons for deciding on the AS+M's too. Honestly Hamm's, AS+M and TOG's are all reletively close in performance promises, so I don't think anyone will be disapointed with any of them.

Looked at their site and they looked good. TByrne has AS+M's a nd TOG's on his page with a little info on them. If TOG has them in stock I could still change my mind.

I never caught that. Anyway I ordered the AS&M's from TByrne.
X pipe from Husker
Cutouts from Thunder Racing
I'm gonna go with a two in/two out Magnaflow. Getting it all put in here in town for $200-$250. That includes the price of the muffler and welding for the headers. Not a bad deal.
