What intake manifold gasket should i get

Default What intake manifold gasket should i get

Im replacing my stock heads for some 862 that are ported and was wondering on what intake manifold gasket i should get. There seems to be 2 different ones from what i can see.

Either works, I would use Felpro brand or OEM though. I've had trouble in the past with lower cost gaskets.

I prefer Felpro or OEM that snap into the intake. Never used the type of the 2nd one you posted.

Here at the shop we use both kinds and both are excellent. One snaps to the intake, the other type has little rings that locate on the head bolts near the intake ports. I don't have issues with either type. So one set you put on the intake then install it, the other type you put on the engine then install the intake.

If I remember right the snap on style (first link) are much cheaper though.
