just treat it like a heavy FBody. Thats basically what we are...lols

I have the patriot LS6's, z06 cam, 1.85 rockers, intake, and full exhaust and like how it runs now.
Transmission is next, along with a converter.
I would put some 4.10s if you plan on keeping those 22's.

Yes, parts are interchangable. The ls6 cam is a nice cheap upgrade, will make a power difference.. I wouldn't go putting the ls6 heads on the 4.8 unless you have them milled to bring the comp up on your engine.. Like stated, a tune is going to be the best bang.. But you really should ditch the shortys and get some long tubes on there. If you have some money to spend I would invest in some gears and a posi unit... Between them few mods, you should bust your friend pretty good. Also the big rims are killing you..

so for now gears, shift kit and servos, 1.85 rockers and ls6 cam plus tuning should be good? how about a trail blazer converter is that a good upgrade?

personally,I would scratch the 1.85 rockers off the list.
cam, higher stall torque converter, definaly gears and let me know when you are ready for a tune if you choose to come to me.
Nice truck by the way,I have the same thing

Do you have 342's now.. If you are scared of being hurt by gas mileage 373 would do you good. What are you over all goals for the truck??

its a stock rear end. i don't want a super fast truck just faster than what it is now. i know i gotta get rid of the 22" just to start off.
