Default what heads?
i need help picking a set of heads for my build. its a stock long block 01 5.3 with a 04 ls6 cam, i have 2 sets of 862s but i hear the 243s flow better. any help would be great. thanks

i would got with a different cam before heads, but that is just me, unless you planning for boost...

I'd swap cams or have your 5.3L heads ported so you can keep the compression and even get a bump!

while we are on the subject of head how much hp gain would it be to have a set of 862 ported and then milled .30? prolly bout 30?
