Default What headers for my 6.0

I have a 2002 2500hd 6.0ls crew cab, small lift, 33" tires, true dual exhaust magnaflow muffler no cats, CAI and custom tune. Other than that everything is stock. I have an exhaust leak at the manifold and broken bolts to extract. I'm thinking of doing headers while I'm at it rather than putting the stock manifolds back on and would like some of you guy's experience/opinion. Is it worth it? If so what should I go with?

If it helps any this truck is my daily driver, farm truck, play toy all in one lol

The speed engineering 1 3/4" longtubes seem to be really popular, and affordable. A 6.0 would do good with the 1 7/8" longtubes. I have 1 7/8 but not the Speed Eng ones. I have a 6.0 also. I ran shortys for 7 years and they were super easy to install and zero issues. And cheaper. Either way you cant go wrong.

The speed engineering 1 7/8 are probably the way to go... Less than $300 and stainless... Only issue as of right now is the driver side o2 bung needing to be moved... I havent installed mine yet, but they are really good quality for the price!!

I suggest 1 7/8, don't do shorties. They aren't worth installing no matter how you cut it. For the price it's pretty hard to beat the Speed Engineering long tubes.

I've got the TSP 1 3/4. I've had them almost 2 years and they have been on 2 different motors. No issues with fitment or quality.

Did you lose any low end or mid range torque with those big primary's? I was thinking 1 5/8 because low end is one of my main concerns as I pull a trailer regularly

1 5/8 are actually about same as the stock manifolds... Even a stock 6.0 you probably want at least 1 3/4"

I highly doubt you will lose anything by going to 1 3/4 or 7/8 headers over the stock manifolds you should see gains everywhere just maybe less on the low end compared to up top.

go 1 3/4 if part throttle torque is a main concern. At WOT 1 7/8 wont give up anything noticable off the bottom if tuned right on a 6.0.

It honestly felt like it had more low end and mid range torque. I was surprised.
