Default what is factory shift rpm

Does anyone know what the factory rpm shift is? mine shifts at 6k in 1st and 2nd according to the factory tach. is that normal. i see a lot of people saying that theirs shift lower. also, some people are saying that after their shift kit they can bark the tires at wot. well mines been doing that since day one(with factory limited slip). truck has 64k on it and ive had it since 52k, could there be something going in the tranny or is it just good and broke in. it always shifts like a champ. I know this isnt that important a question but i was just curious as to peoples thoughts or opinions on the matter. I read somewhere that sometimes the tranny will shift harder right before its about to give it up. Thanks for your help guys.

Sounds like the previous owner raised shift points and installed a shift kit.Factory shifts are like 5600 in 1st and 5200 in 2nd.

Either someone left the tuning in your truck or your tach is off. stock Tachs are not real accurate.

the truck appears to have been well taken care of. its a 2000 and i bought it last year and there was literally one scratch on it on the driver's side in the clear coat. there were not even scratches in the bed. when i was driving it home i noticed two little suction cup marks on the windshield so i assume that a radar detector or something resided there at one time. Anyway, i just thought it was weird that my truck drove a little diff than the other people's that i have been reading about in other threads. Thanks for your input guys.
