I am looking into getting a muffler/exhaust for my truck (listed in sig), what are you using? Catback or muffler only? What sounds best and gives the most gains? Thanks, Shawn

 

Flowmaster, but this weekend I am switching to magnaflow race mufflers. Some guys are running borla, corsa, and others

 

I'm running two Edelbrock RPM series mufflers.

 

I'm running a dynomax super turbo 1 in 2 out design. Also running a 12" dynomax bullet race muffler just behind the y-pipe to keep it quiet inside the truck.

 

damn all I am going to be running is the race muffler. It shouldn't be that loud, should it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

 

I run street with a Magnaflow dual 3" in single 3" out - switching to dual 3" in and 4" out.

At the track I run dual cutouts right before the muffler - Qtec's

 

I am running a single 3" w/ a Dynomax race bullet exiting behind right rear wheel. I am hoping this will flow fairly well with my SC when I put it on in a few eeks.

I had a HD system grafted in,First hamms headers 2 HD OE cats then dual 3" mandrel pipes to the HD muffler and out the single angled 3-1/2 tailpipe.It flows,its quiet and i like it that way.

 

I got the corsa side exit! I love the sound, never anoying on the highway and sounds mean when getting on it.

Corsa makes a beautiful muffler and piping with near perfect welds. Probably the nicest system out there. It is expensive though. So if I was on a tight budget I would go with dynomax ultra flow mufflers single 3 " pipe or dual 2 3/4".
