I'm going to help you out. Just give me the 422 because I know where I would put it and that way, you could put all those decisions your trying to make at ease. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If I could I would. I actually tossed the idea around. i think I may end up with a stroked 5.3 or 5.7 LS1. You see, I have way to many decisions to make and the 422 would make me feel muuuucchhh better. I already have a 4.8/5.3 long block at the house. Just do the 422 ext cab and get a 4L80e and rear from a junk yard. Good Luck.

Fast 4.8 - No problem!, the 422 is yours....... <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> I think I made my mind up though. It'll be a light weight "performance" truck. How do you put a cage in a truck? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Tech guy: "So what will it run"
Me: "Maybe a 14, I don't really know" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
After first run
Timeslip booth chick: "PARK IT, Thats all for you tonight."
Me: <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Now I just need to start looking for the right used truck to start this project. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks everyone. I'll keep ya'll updated as things happen. I really don't have a timetable for this thing.

Johnnie

PS - Fast, thats a nice truck you got there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
