a tiney bit of lope? A-ok. Anbything more is a show stopper. I dont mind it snarling a bit, but I dont want a definative hard lope. I also dont want to lose much, if any, low end torque. Most of my driving is between 1800 and 2500 rpm.

216/218 .561 / .562 114+2*

in an Lq9/4L65e w/ long tubes and corsa sport

Go with a slightly lower intake duration, around 210 to keep the low end...

Just had a good friend install a 212/218 114lsa the old comp design in an 06 lq9 2wd. went 14.56 @ the track with a tad bit of wheel spin on the stock convertor.this truck makes some great under the curve torque for an ecsb with 20's. feels like it wants more cam on the big end. Adjustable timing set
set installed & was advanced at 1st & felt sluggish/ installed straight up & you could tell the difference in the response as well as the ve.

We ar wondering if a larger cam say a tr224 with some advance would help it breath better on the top end & still give it the usable torque.

my 212 intake duration still has most of the stock torque feel. I would definately go with the a 216 intake duration with that lq9

cam & tune only, no exhaust. the truck ran a 15.2 stock so all things considered it was a nice improvement. we are @ SEA LEVEL here in louisiana.

he drives this truck everday for work, gas mileage went to 19mpg from
17.8 on a 06 vortex max...

Thats probably gonna lope pretty hard. AND THAT IS A HUGE duration split to be on a N/A DD TRUCK!!. I decent but small cam would be the lpe gt2-3.

But if I were you I would like the comp cam 212/218 highlift version.

Yeah, I just noticed that I misread the duration a few minutes ago.

I'm still looking!
