Default what do you guys think?

was wondering what you guys think of this... took off my intake for some cleaning and saw this. lots of oil on the head and on the intake gasket. would a catch can fix this? its a 06 lq4 317 heads untouched other than a .030 mill. 228r cam 110 lsa nnbs intake this is on a 08 rcsb sierra. thanks

What you're seeing is pretty common. A catch can would probably help some what.

Thats not that bad actually. I've seen worse on bone stock 5.3 and 5.7 engines.

A catch can would definitely help, but not keep all of it out. I can usually fill up half a SOLO cup every 5-6k miles.
