okay so ive had my truck for 2 weeks, and so far ive installed the hypertech 160 thermostat, and installed a daul flowmaster 40 series system. i also have installed a cold air intake system with a K&N. so what should i do next? i was thinking shift kit then hypertech progrmmer. i want to be in the low 13's soon. help me out what kind of suspension work will i need to do? later on i was thinking 20s will that slow me down?

you have a hell of a start for only 2weeks, did you even get plates yet?
shift kit and hpp3 would be good mods but if you are really looking to go fast save you money and get a real programer(ls1edit) and a built tranny, it will come with a shift kit.
headers, stall, gears, sticky tires, pullys, electric fan, nitrous or blower. all good stuff. if your not sure how far you are going to go with the truck i would hold off on the programer and shiftkit and look more into headers, gears and a stall. if you don't plan on going all out later than the hpp3 is a great mod.

If I were you I'd go with exhaust (Flowmaster), 160 degree thermostat, Hypertech, and the K&N replacement filter. With only those mods I ran a 14.7, since then I have spent twice as much money only to go slower.
The best I can do now is 14.9 with wider tires, granetelli mass air sensor, K&N cold air induction, BBK 80mm throttle body, Taylor spark plug wires, and Edelbrock headers.
So as you can see I'm not very happy after spending all that money to make my truck go slower.
So I had to get help from NOS!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the only way I see you getting your truck where you want it.

I would save your money and start with with a posi and gears. I cant get my truck to hook now for ****. I think if i were to race another ride that was equal to mine I would get killed because of traction issues. I cant even hook at 50 when i spray. One wheel peel sucks. 2nd i would get the shift kit because of our weak transmissions. It quickens the shifts so that should be easier on the clutches. Maybe help prolong the life a bit. Then I would go with a stall. Seconf depending on what you have i would go with edit or the diablo programmer. Pulleys and so on. Good luck with your truck and get ready to drop some bills on it because once you pop you cant stop.......i hope that is nbot protected by copyright.

S/C, converter, headers, 2/4 drop, 20" shoes, and the list goes on and on.

If you are really want to shave some time off your et geta good converter and sticky tires. It would also be a good idea to take the suggestions about posi/gears if you dont have one already.
For programmers, go with the Diablo. Unlike the HPP3, you can grow into it as you do more mods.
For loud... get some cutouts.
