Tony-
Thats what I was thinking. I weighed my bare 6.0L block and it was at 210lbs even. I would love to find something like godspeeds motor from his old camaro. A 38X or so turboed truck.....hmmmmm that sounds nice. Tony, think Jayson would want to use my truck as a test truck to get into the truck market? hahaha, Just had to ask! I'll find something for the truck....just a matter of time.

If I could get ahold of a 6.0L longblock for a good price...and then order me some nice probe pistons or something. Then I could have lots of fun with the truck again. Has anyone heard if Cola is going to make LS1 cranks like they said they are thinking about doing???

OK - another question added to this. Those of you that know me know my truck is stock in its looks. Should I keep it a sleeper like it somewhat was? Or do a 2-4 drop and maybe add some rims to it? Of course this would cut into the motor funds....

Is, Jason 98 T/A, still wanting to get rid of his 6.0L? How much you think the escalade pistons could hold on N20? Jason, make me a deal on the motor if you want? I might try to play with it a little more in the future.

I have a 2inch rear drop (cheap) but I think a hotckis (sp?) 2/4 would make it handle alot better. That will be after i get some rims though. Some 18s or even 17s will make it look alot better, but it costs quite a bit (at least for me). I decided when my tires are worn out I'll get rims, which shouldnt be too far away....

Thats what I was thinking about...the hotchkis and some 18-9's

Make it handle a lot better I would think. But first I need to wax the damn thing.

I'm just gonna go nuts with that extra 4.8 long block I have and try to end up with a 350 to a 383.

How about this plan: Keep the truck for now & save like a tightass for a year or so, then step into a nice used C5.

This once was my plan, but saving for a house, bills, & beers haven't left much for the C5 fund. Not spending money for mods on this truck has been tough. I actually broke down and ordered a UPD intake last week, only because of the GP special and I know I can sell it later on down the road. No permanent mods are going on this slow bizaatch.
