Default What crank for a LQ4

I have a LQ4 with a missing crank. The crank was broken. How do I know what year the block is. I need to replace the crank. The 07 and up use the crank with a 58 reluctor wheel and before 07 a 24 reluctor wheel. Is this correct?

if its a gen 3 block then its a 24. Is the cam sensor in the back? Where are the knock sensors? Those are a few things that can help you identify which it is if the heads are no longer on it.

Im still learning about these engines. The engine is completely torn down. The heads are 317's.

Cam sensor that reads the reluctor?

That is in right in the rear on this block.

There is one sensor in the back of the intake area and what appears to be two kinds of sensors in the lifter valley

Iron block or alum? I thought all the hybrids were alum blocks.
