running trailblazer!! great, very streetable, low cost.

how far do you plan on going with your truck. mine stall's at around 2200-2300 rpms. there are others that are stalling at 2500 on a 5.3.

Im looking at gtp s2 heads now and a medium cam hoping to get around 400 hp at the flywheel would the trailblazer stall be a good match, I currently have 3.73 rearend if need be I could go up to match a higher stall and keep trans temps down. But this is an everyday driver and I dont want to go overboard. will the trailblazer stall take advantage of a built 5.3

I'd go with the bigger stall for your goals. a minimum of a 3000stall IMO. Maybe bigger if you wanna go all out.

BTW, i got a few pics of those heads but the damned batteries died on me so I am rechargching them right now to take a few more then upload them to my server and you can check em out.

Do you have that cam already in hand. If you don't, I might be able to get you a good deal on it.
