Default What catch can kit to buy?

I'm looking at getting a BOLT ON catch can kit that includes everything for my cam/bolton 2000 5.3L silverado. stock LM7 nbs intake manifold and TB

Was curious as to what yall recommend.

Truck has almost 200K miles on it, I have to put a 1/4 quart of oil in it every thousand miles roughly. Not to bad for such high mileage motor, but thought a catch can might help it some.

I assume oil is being lost in PCV system since it is not drastic losses. I did replace the PCV valve with the new re designed version during the cam swap 60-70K miles ago.

Default Catch can

I took a little diff route to this deal. I used an
old style inline fuel filter. I put it in between the PVC
and the int manif. being that it's a clear plastic i can
see when it needs to be changed. there cheap at the
Auto zone store. the ends are for a 3/8 hose, so it just
pushes into the PVC hose. sort of PnP. Catches the oil
vapor pretty good.

No I was just curious, I see several different brands, some with breathers, some with just the catch can itself no hoses clamps etc.

Just asking for a recommended kit that people have used.

There are a lot of options on the market. I'm very busy with dental school, and I finally get a few days of freedom over Thanksgiving break so I wanted to order one today/tomorrow that I could bolt on easy issue free next week.

I used the Mike Norris one at one point and it worked pretty well for stock/NA applications.
