What can I run/is this a good setup?

I've been doing a lot of research on mods, but I still have a few questions. First before I get started, this is my current mod list:
1. Underdrive Pullies
2. LS6 02 cam (unless you can think of a better one)
3. LS6 CNC ported alu. heads
4. Hypertech or Nelson tune
5. 4.10 rear
6. Either VR king cobra, Volant, or AEM brute force air intake
7. VR velocity stack
Like I said, if you can think of a better cam, please tell me about it. And does ported mean the same as milled? The reason I ask this is because the LS6 heads are slightly larger and if they are'nt milled or something like that, there is a loss in compression, and makes for a loss in power (At least I think so).
Nelson tune or hypertech, what do you guys think? 4.10, but if a 3.90 is better, let me know as well.
The king cobra has a pretty hefty claim of a 1.4 second improvment in th 0-60 times and 3-4 mpg on an ECSB 5.3L, so not sure where to go on the intake.
Also, is the VR velocity stack worth it? It shows a .6 loss in Hp, but 22 lb/ft of torque for $50 bucks. Will this insert in the TB decress the HP potential of other mods?
Finally, what times can I expect with these mods? Sorry about all the questions. BTW, I tried to organize it a bit with paragraphs, but failed

I think maybe you should let us know what you hope to acheive. If I had that truck I shoot for high 13's with a TT3000 converter, a set of Longtube headers (maybe check out the new Pacesetter's), the AEM intake, a catback, and a Hypertech. You can find a used Hypertech all the time for less than $200 bucks. Feelings about the pulleys seemed mixed at best, and I agree with 02denali that there are much better choices for cams out there. If you already have the G80 posi (factory) and 3.42 gears I would hold with that for now, as too much gear leads to more traction issues. I'd get those pieces on first then look into a cam and valvetrain. Save you money on the heads for now as well, until you decide what you overall goal(s) are for the truck. I'd save the $50 from the VR stack as well, it seems to be useless. You can get the converter, programmer, AEM, and catback and headers for around $2000. That should put you into the 13's with a RCSB.

Yeah, I am hoping for some 13s at best. Is there another way to run 13s without a 3000 stall? I don't mind the higher revs, but (this is bs btw) my dad might not like it too much, that and my rear tires are already pretty worn down. As long as the 3000 stall won't make me spin the tires all the time it should be OK, though $2000 is pushing it a bit.

Here is how I would go knowing what I know now. If you lwant to spend upwards of 350 on a cam and springs but want GREAT results, get one of those comp cams. If you want GOOD results, go with that LS6 cam and advance it....
Let's say you want to go with that LS6 cam.... I will help you build around it with other mods, like I should have done in the first place.
Do them in this order, if you can't possibly do all at the same time.
1) Catback Exhaust (I like my dynomax ultraflow)
2) Long Tube Headers. (I think you can get some now for 300 + 120 for a Y-pipe)
3) Intake Setup (I got my K&N setup for 190 from Autozone)
4) Positrac (Just ordered my Auburn for 340... but some like Eaton, just talk to shops)
5) Torque Converter (I like my TCI Streetfight 3000, about $450)
6) Cam.... (got my LS6 cam + springs for $50 from a guy who did a swap on his LS6)
7) Tune (Got my PCM4LESS for $250)
If at all possible, do 5, 6, and 7 all together. You don't need to be running that TC or cam without a tune.
However.... with these mods, its possible your tranny will go out. You may want to start with a shiftkit and servos. That tranny will go out eventually trying to move that EC into the 13s though. Plan for it.
All of those mods can be had for about $2300... if you need a new tranny (plan for it), add in another 1200 for a good tranny (Check Team Tripp)

go with a custom tune, you will be much better off with one of those. The Hypertech will only let you do very little. I sure wish I would have put about 75 dollars more with it and went with a custom tune. Hypertech didint do hardly anything to my truck, and its far from how good they say it is.
