only cuts 2.0 60fts because of the gear

For the record, I ran him when I had my twincharger setup with the stock 80e converter, and we were about even til I pulled away at 90ish mph. The truck is quick, I can personally vouch for that.
Your correct.. I was more talking about cathedral port headed 6.0s too.. But numbers really don't matter.. If its a fast truck its fast end of story

i currently run a ls6 cam in mine, its a 204/218 with .50 lift, but i just bought a comp cam 218/224 .528/.535 on 114 lsa, which i hear is comparable to the tr220. i just wanted a little more, although i still never ran my truck with the 5.3 in it, my 4.8 with 6L cam had best of 15.2 though

[QUOTE=smokeshow;4633821]Derek just put down 455 with his 6.0, which is way nice for a 6.0. So I wouldn't say 60 less hp for a 5.3 is too much of a stretch. In fact, cube for cube, Derek's numbers are higher. Its not too unbelievable.

this is true but for what ive heard dereks cam specs are way bigger them chevyboy520 , and his on the a rcsb wich adds hp at the dyno kus it lighter, so it takes less power to spin the tires there for more hp appears at the dyno!
Iam no saying this gentlemen (chevyboy520 ) is lying or posting false info , i just think those are really high numbers for a 5.3 ! but hey if his truck is doing 396rwhp then good for him!
