Default what is best. ported TB or the VR velocity stack

what would be best for a 4x4 4.8L 1999 chevy silverado. i use it to drive to work and tow my camaro, i have the volant intake on order and ive got a bullet muffler or a flow master muffler to put in next week. still dont know whuch muffler im going to use. everything else is stock. im going to do all the free mods i can. and a 160 thremo. thanks for all the help guys.

hand Ported for sure and cheaper too. just takes time, but some people are to busy to relax, hone in for more horsepower. I call them crazy. very relaxing working on the motor for more power.

I Know This Is A Stupid Question But Does Anybody Have Any Tips On Porting The Tb As Far As What To Do And What Not To Do And How Much To Take Off And Where .im Kinda New To This

ok thanks alot guys. and for the other guys go to www.installuniversty.com they got great directions on how to port a TB. or they use to anyway. lol

oh yeah, Bruce the fridge is going down. i got 3:73's from the factory and a cold air intake on order. you better watch out. lol

i see a goal of 14.68 is what im shooting for. so i may have to cut some weight ouit of the truck. but you know i dont mind to do that. lol

link doesnt work. im really interested in a port and polish too. does anyone have directions?
