I just got my silverado and its a 5.3 and all i really want is custom tuning with hp tuners and then i want a cam and bolt ons... lowered on SS wheels... just cant get enough of that cammed sound... but the truck will be stock bottom end so where can i get a cam that has just enough bump but not to much to hurt anything

Im currently running a custom pat g cam but have ran a tsp before and both are great cams. Just do some research with the search button at the top and compare your setup with others and see which cam they have and how theyre running.

Unless you're planning on shoving a bunch of boost into your motor... you don't need to worry about hurting anything on the bottom end.

In about a month, he's going to hold you liable for blowing his bottom-end to pieces with a 300 shot.

"You said as long as it wasn't boost, I wouldn't have to worry. Omg. Anybody have 5.3?"
