Give Comp cams a call they'll hook u up with wat ever u need or want I'd say there the best.

Thats the thing i dont really know what i "need" haha i just want over 320 to the ground... but still be able to tow with it... I think i can get 320 with cam intake tune and header to tip exhaust and other little stuff....What would you guys recomend for that kinda power

and thats it "BOOST AND JUICE" going straight to it.... ill take the turbo of my 64mm phatshaft turbo off my diesel and just slap it on there and then i will use a 50 shot to help it spool and finish it off with a 200 shot haha

lol what is your overall budget SilverMcg? That diesel turbo on a 5.3L wouldn't be the most efficient setup, but I do believe you are joking about that lol..

I have heard of some junkyard diesel turbos that did work on a rear mount turbo setup on LS engines though, but I wouldn't spend the time and money on it IMO.

If you are serious about a turbo then get a turbo kit of some type and the correct turbo made for it, so you know it will be done right.

As for 320 to the ground, that is pretty easily achievable with Cam and boltons on a 5.3L.

What year is your truck by the way, you never told us and what body style? What gears does it have and I am guessing it is 100% bone stock too?

you can get 320 to the wheels with fbo and a proven off the shelf cam, ie...212/218, 220/220 etc.

2002 extended cab 5.3.... and idk to much about it.. im just now getting into these chevy's... i know they are easy and cheap to mod... I am a die hard diesel guy and i am in the airforce and am moving to south carolina and diesel is just to expensive on the ease coast!! I cant ever own anything slow... Joking about the boost and nitrous by the way lol
